Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has announced that it is the exclusive sponsor of a webinar offered by the AACC.

Entitled Weathering the Storm: Surviving and Succeeding in Today’s Economy, the webinar is approved by the international scientific/medical society for 1.5 category 1 Accent credit hours.

In the session, John Waugh and Thomas Nantais, both of whom work for Henry Ford Health System, discuss what they have learned about how to deal with a period of economic uncertainty.

They offer a range of advice, from where to look for opportunities for growth in the current financial climate and tips on negotiating with vendors, to strategies for making existing lab systems more efficient and strategies for enhancing revenue cycles.

Other topics covered by the webinar, which was originally presented on June 24th, include management techniques to enhance the performance of hospitals and laboratories.
