Siemens Healthcare emphasises importance of data facilities
Siemens Healthcare has announced its appearance at a conference in Germany that aims to address issues relating to improved data transfer.
The company will look at the options available for improving systems for use in ophthalmologist laboratories and eye care diagnostic centres at the TeleHealth trade show – which forms part of the CeBIT event in Hanover next month.
In addition, the firm will offer up its own networking concepts on how to access files and information more quickly and securely, which will include improved methods for exchanging billing and treatment data.
Herbert Baumgartner, head of business at Siemens Healthcare’s IT Solutions and Services, said it was essential for these areas of the industry to be as streamlined as possible.
"The greatest potential for improving quality and saving money for the participants of the public healthcare sector lies in the consistent networking and integration of individual applications, he added.
CeBIT takes place between March 3rd and 8th.
