Siemens Healthineers allies with Fast-track Diagnostics on molecular testing

Siemens Healthineers has announced a new product collaboration with Fast-track Diagnostics in the field of molecular testing.

The partnership will see Siemens Healthineers bring the Fast-track Diagnostics range of CE Mark-approved kits and multisyndromic panels to the menu of the Siemens Healthineers Versanty kPCR molecular system.

These kits and panels cover conditions from respiratory disease and gastroenteritis to central nervous system conditions and childhood infections, and will allow Siemens Healthineers to provide a more complete molecular testing solution.

It means that Versant kPCR, which is an established market player in molecular testing for HIV and hepatitis, will now feature more than 75 assays within a single molecular ecosystem.
