Siemens Healthineers and Horiba Medical agree haematology partnership

Siemens Healthineers has announced a new haematology partnership with fellow life science technology company Horiba Medical.

The long-term agreement will see the companies collaborate to deliver innovative new haematology solutions to the global market, with Horiba Medical acting as an original equipment manufacturer to complement the Siemens Healthineers portfolio.

This will allow the partners to provide customers with expanded options to meet their various haematology and multidisciplinary solution needs, a complete multidisciplinary solution for in vitro diagnostic testing that will help laboratories to transform care delivery.

Franz Walt, president of laboratory diagnostics at Siemens Healthineers, said: "With our commercial strength and global installed base of customers combined with Horiba Medical's innovative technologies, the relationship will expand the haematology solutions available to laboratories for diagnostics testing worldwide."
