Siemens Perspective 64 scanner unlocks benefits for Princeton Radiology

18th May 2015

Siemens has highlighted the positive testimony it has received after helping Princeton Radiology to upgrade one of its computed tomography (CT) scanners.

The US-based diagnostic centre was looking to replace the Siemens Emotion 16 that it had purchased in 2007, and was proposed a seven-year fair market-value lease solution to help it acquire the new Siemens Perspective 64 CT scanner.

Siemens' project team was able to get the transaction completed in one day and provided cost-effective rates for the company, allowing it to remain competitive and offer higher standards of care.

Princeton Radiology ultimately acquired five scanners from Siemens, standardising the equipment across multiple locations to establish a common basis on which to train technicians.

Marc Rothenberg, chief operating officer of Princeton Radiology, said: "In the end, Siemens offered the innovative healthcare equipment our patients expect from us, along with a payment plan that allows us to maintain our budget and upgrade scanners at several sites."

The CT scanner is designed to reduce dosage while improving diagnostic accuracy, as well as offering ergonomic benefits.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801787844-ADNFCR
