Simplyhealth named best health insurance provider at Personal Finance Awards

Simplyhealth has been recognised as the UK's best health insurance provider at the 2016 Personal Finance Awards.

The awards are voted by consumers of The Money Pages website and are held annually to celebrate the country's top personal finance businesses and products. This represents the company's second third win in this category, having also won the title in 2013 and 2015.

The selection of the nominees and winners of these awards is entirely driven by user votes and feedback, underlining the high regard in which Simplyhealth is held.

Mark Hamson, managing director of health plans at Simplyhealth, said: "Our customers are incredibly important to us, and at the heart of what we do. That they took the time to recognise us shows that they value us as we value them."

This comes after Simplyhealth's chief executive Romana Abdin was recently recognised as 2016's large company director of the year at the Institute of Directors' Director of the Year UK final.

She was presented with this accolade in honour of her history of strong work at the forefront of leadership excellence.
