Simplyhealth’s CEO named president of Institute of Customer Service

15th May 2012

Simplyhealth has announced that its chief executive officer (CEO) Des Benjamin has been appointed as president of the Institute of Customer Service (ICS), the UK's professional body for customer service.

He has been selected for the role based on his experience in building sustainable business success founded on strong client support principles, as he has demonstrated during his leadership at Simplyhealth.

The dental insurance provider won the ICS prize for customer commitment at the 2012 UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, which took place earlier this year.

Mr Benjamin said it is an honour to have been chosen for this position, while vowing to use his new standing to emphasise the crucial role played by customer service in adding to the success of organisations and bolstering the strength of the UK economy.

He added: "I'm looking forward to working with the institute and its members to promote the business value of customer service excellence."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801363626-ADNFCR
