Sirona celebrates new Cerec Acquisition Centre

Sirona has celebrated the launch of a new Cerec Acquisition Centre which utilises its Bluecam.

Compared to other digital impression technologies on the market, the handheld camera ? which uses a highly visible blue LED ? is able to capture digital impressions quickly, accurately and easily.

According to the company, it is considered a “significant advancement in chair-side Cad/Cam systems”.

To mark the launch, Sirona hosted a blue themed party, which spokesman Roddy MacLeod asserted was the perfect setting.

He remarked: “The party was a great networking event for our colleagues, clients, associates, and other professionals who hold the same interests.”

Mr MacLeod concluded it has now become tradition for the company to end its midwinter meeting by hosting an event for those who support the dental profession.

Last month, the firm announced its new SiroLaser Advance is user-friendly, while also employing the newest laser technology.

It is easy to operate due to its colour touch screen, which includes structured menus and self-explanatory symbols, as well as being able to store 24 different applications, Sirona explained.
