Sirona launches new upgraded Teneo treatment centre

Sirona has announced the launch of an upgraded version of its premium-category Teneo treatment centre, which incorporates a number of new features.

The new version of the dental technology manufacturer's device incorporates user-friendly improvements such as sanitisation adapters located directly on the water unit, suction hoses with automatic rinsing functions and accelerated chair movements.

Other parts of the treatment centre have had their customisability enhanced, meaning dental professionals can tweak the sensitivity of features such as the no-touch sensor fitted to the LEDView operating light.

Sirona states that the Sivision digital package has also received an upgrade via the inclusion of a full high-definition monitor and the integration of third-party software.

"In its role as the dental industry's technology leader, Sirona regularly introduces product innovations with the goal of delivering genuine value-added benefits to dentists and dental laboratories," a statement read.

Earlier this month, the company demonstrated its new treatment centre offering – Sinius – at the International Dental Show, ahead of its launch next month.
