Sirona to present new interconnected inLab technology model at IDS 2015

12th February 2015

Sirona has announced that it will be demonstrating the connected functionality of its new inLab products at the 2015 International Dental Show (IDS) next month.

The company will attend the event in Cologne to showcase the way its inEos X5 model scanner, inLab software, the inLab MC X5 and inLab MC XL milling and grinding units, and the inFire HTC speed quick-sintering furnace all work in conjunction with each other.

Attendees will be able learn more about the open infrastructure of the inLab MC X5 system, and the variety of material and processing options it offers, while also getting to grips with version 15.0 of the inLab software.

Additionally, a special scanning mode for triple-tray impression trays will be demonstrated for the inEos X5 scanner, which means an additional buccal image is no longer needed.

The company said: "Independent choice of production processes and materials, and complete control of the work process – these are the primary demands dental technicians make of in-house production with modern CAD/CAM systems."

IDS 2015 will also give Sirona an opportunity to present four new design concepts for its treatment centres, which will feature prominently in its 2015 product line-up.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801775108-ADNFCR
