Sobi named as UK’s top haemophilia company

Sobi has been recognised as the leading haemophilia company in the UK in IPC Associates' annual survey of the market for 2016.

The firm was ranked in first place among companies supplying haemophilia treatments, earning a reputation of being a transparent and trustworthy company, with patient support groups welcoming its honest and positive attitude.

It scored ratings ranging from very good to outstanding across 70 per cent of its activities, emerging ahead of all organisations in the field in five of the eight assessed categories. Sobi received particularly positive feedback for its sales and marketing and sales service support activities, winning praise for its skill, technical knowledge and positive hands-on approach.

A total of 12 suppliers of haemostasis products were included in the survey, which encompassed personal and confidential interviews with haemophilia treatment centre staff, as well as people working for patient support groups.

Paul Cox, Sobi's business unit director for haemophilia in the UK and Ireland, said: "One of our primary strategies last year was to earn the trust of everyone involved with haemophilia in the UK via a credible scientific but practical approach to all our interactions."

This represents a strong performance in what was Sobi's first full year of commercial haemophilia operations in the UK.
