Spink appoints new senior account executive
Spink has announced the appointment of James Butcher as a senior account executive, a role that will see him lead awareness campaigns for the agency.
The former political communications executive can boast considerable experience working as a campaign manager for a mainstream political party, and as a researcher and aide for an MP, reports PMLiVE.
He was previously responsible for all media communications for the office of Conservative MP Tim Loughton and has an extensive knowledge of local government workings, having served as a locally elected representative on three different councils.
In his new role at Spink, he will be tasked with working across awareness campaigns for clients such as the electrical manufacturing trade association BEAMA, United European Gastroenterology and Orchid, a UK men's cancer charity.
Other health and wellbeing clients in the Spink portfolio include brands such as Lanes Health and Reckitt Benckiser. It was also confirmed last week that the agency has won a contract to promote the Kalms Night range of herbal sleeping aids.
