Spink hired to promote Kalms Night range
Spink has been handed a new brief to promote and build awareness of the Kalms Night range of sleeping aids.
The specialist healthcare PR agency has been hired to develop a TV advert for the traditional herbal remedy, which aids natural sleep, and to work on product launches for 2016, reports PRWeek.
Spink won the brief after a non-competitive pitch and will replace incumbent agency Speed Communications. Its existing portfolio of wellness brands – including Allergan, Biogen, Johnson and Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer – played a key role in winning the contract.
Jo Spink, director of the agency, said: "Kalms is a fantastic addition to the Spink portfolio of wellness brands and we have some exciting plans to bring to life the new TV creative LiveLifeReady."
The agency has also announced the appointment of James Butcher, a former parliamentary aide to MP Tim Loughton, as a senior account executive. He will work with clients including United European Gastroenterology and UK men's cancer charity Orchid.
