Steris exhibits perioperative solutions at industry conference

Steris has attended the OR Manager Conference in Las Vegas this week, where it was able to demonstrate a number of its latest perioperative solutions.

During the event, the medical technology firm presented its RealView Visual Workflow Management Software and OR Command Centre, which are designed to help communicate patient status and OR scheduling information instantly and conveniently.

Other items on display included the CS-iQ Workflow Software dashboard for real-time data processing, while the services of the newly formed Steris Professional Services Group were also discussed.

The aim of the company's offerings in this field is to deliver better visibility for critical data, superior communications and automated processes, all of which will help clinicians operate more effectively.

Bill O'Riordan, vice-president and general manager of Steris Surgical Solutions, said: "Steris' powerful solutions offer innovative yet practical ways to create highly efficient perioperative environments."

Earlier this month, the company announced the acquisition of Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corp and Total Repair Express, thus expanding its healthcare service business.
