STRATEC half-year financial figures confirmed

STRATEC has unveiled its half-year trading figures, which reveal the company enjoyed sales of 48.5 million euros (42.5 million pounds), confirming its growth trajectory.

The firm achieved this figure from January 1st to June 30th 2011, representing a 12.5 percent increase compared with the same period in 2010.

It saw consolidated income reach seven million euros, which is a 14.8 percent year-on-year rise, while earnings per share climbed 13.2 per cent.

"STRATEC continues to expect accelerated sales growth in the remainder of the 2011 financial year. Specifically, the company expects to generate sales in a range of 114 million to 123 million euros," a representative from the firm stated.

The company has three contracts in the works over the rest of the year, with one of these – a development and supply agreement – signed up.

Earlier this year, STRATEC advised its shareholders of a "tightening" of its 2011 revenue guidance, raising the lower boundary to the aforementioned 114 million euros.
