Stryker named in best companies to work for list

Stryker has been named as one of the top 100 best companies to work for by a respected industry publication.

Fortune Magazine has listed the firm among the leading US-based employers in recognition of its exceptional workplace culture. It was listed in 42nd position in the overall list of 100 businesses.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Stryker has been included in the prestigious ranking, which has been compiled annually for 17 years.

Steve Benscoter, vice-president of human resources at Stryker, said the recognition the company has received is a testament to its commitment to growing talent and the constant efforts made to enhance its working culture.

He added: "We are honoured to be named one of the 100 best workplaces and recognise it would not be possible without the contributions of all of our employees."

At the end of last month, the company announced that it is set to expand its commercial capabilities further through the acquisition of Patient Safety Technologies, creator of the Safety-Sponge System and SurgiCount 360 compliance software.
