Sudler and Hennessey appoints medical communications head

Sudler and Hennessey has appointed Jo Pearson as the new head of its London-based medical communications team.

Ms Pearson will be responsible for managing the team and continuing to drive growth in the medical communications sector, helping to provide innovative solutions and deliver high-quality programmes to achieve brand objectives.

A former employee of agencies such as MediTech Media and Virgo Health, the new team leader has a background in academic research and obtained her PhD from the University of Oxford, studying immune mechanisms in inflammatory disease.

David Higgins, managing director of Sudler and Hennessey London, said: "With her strong scientific background and agency experience, we're delighted Jo has joined the Sudler and Hennessey group to lead the medical communications team."
