Sullivan award

Bio-Rad has been announced as winner of the Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement in drug discovery markets.

The life science research and clinical diagnostics specialist has been recognised for maintaining its existing base as well as producing innovative value and enhancement in drug discovery markets.

Frost & Sullivan states that the award has been given for Bio-Rad’s customer acquisition and service strategies and for the degree with which these have met their clients’ requirements.

Jonathan Wionsky, analyst at Frost & Sullivan, commented: "Bio-Rad has earned a reputation for providing its customers an extensive and diverse set of life science products that provide laboratories [with] ways to improve testing methods, maximise efficiencies, and lower costs.

"As a result, Bio-Rad continues to find success acquiring new customers and providing its installed base excellent service and value."

Bio-Rad was founded in 1952, employs more than 5,000 staff worldwide and has headquarters in Hercules, California.

The company recently organised a seminar in quality control for diagnostic laboratories in India, for helping improve patient care.
