Sultan Steps Up to VP and MD of Lucid

Faisal Sultan has been promoted by Lucid Group to VP and MD of Lucid Middle East. He will now report to Peter Rawlinson, the company’s CEO and CTO.

Sultan held the position of Senior Director of Automotive for Industrial Clusters before moving to Lucid, where he oversaw the group that created and put the Automotive Development Policy into effect. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Automotive Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.

Since coming to the company in 2019, Sultan has led significant change for the company, including running the Saudi Arabia plant building contract.

Peter Rawlinson said that “Our mission is to inspire the adoption of sustainable energy by creating the most captivating electric vehicles in the world, and the Middle East is a strategic region in fulfilling that mission, for both manufacturing and retail. We are very fortunate to have Faisal leading our team here in the Middle East.”

Having worked in the global automotive industry for 23 years, Sultan has been in leadership roles across a range of fields.
