Synergy Health appoints The Scott Partnership for PR

Synergy Health has chosen The Scott Partnership to conduct PR operations on behalf of its hospital sterile services division.

The strategic communications agency's healthcare division has been tasked with engaging stakeholders around Synergy's operating model, which is focused on enhancing service and instrument processing quality, while reducing costs.

Synergy has chosen its new partner based on its experience and knowledge of the healthcare sector, which will help to support growth for one of its key business divisions.

Mike Langhorn, Synergy's commercial director, said The Scott Partnership will be "a valued partner in positioning our hospital sterile services as a viable solution to enhance patient safety, improve quality and reduce costs – critical to today's NHS".

Currently, Synergy processes more than 60 million surgical instruments per year for NHS organisations and operates a total of 18 sterile service facilities.

Last month, the company allied with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to create a multimillion-pound decontamination super-centre in Leicester.
