Synergy Health wins award for UK-China trade investments

Synergy Health has been presented with an industry award honouring its efforts in forging business and network links between the UK and China.

The company was named as the winner of the Greater China Rising Star Award at the Greater China Achievement in International Trade Awards, which was organised by UK Trade and Investment and took place last week.

Synergy Health has conducted a number of initiatives to encourage bilateral trade and investment between the countries, including graduate training schemes and partnerships with Chinese hospitals to help them comply with regulatory demands.

It also announced last month that it is partnering with the China Britain Education Centre on the China Britain Continuing Medical Education programme, which will encourage knowledge exchanges between Chinese and UK-based medical professionals.

A statement from the company said: "Synergy Health is pleased to be making further progress in the creation of a stronger presence in the emerging Chinese health market."

This comes after the firm was awarded the title of most promising new business at the British Business Awards last year.
