Teva UK named generics manufacturer of the year

Teva UK has once again been named generics manufacturer of the year at the annual Pharmacy Business Awards, as voted by the readers of Pharmacy Business magazine.

This is the 12th time in succession that the company has earned this accolade and underlines the strength of its generics offering, including its community pharmacy partnership schemes and customer services.

Held every year to reward the hard work done by pharmacists, the event also honours the industry's standout manufacturers and products.

Kim Innes, commercial director for Teva UK, expressed pride in the company's performance, saying: "We don’t take this for granted and are constantly working to make sure that our offering is tailored to our customers' needs."

This award marks what has been another extremely successful 2014 for Teva, which saw 11 of its employees nominated for PharmaTimes Sales Awards earlier this year. One of its integrated healthcare managers ultimately scooped the title of overall winner in the respiratory category.
