There will be no increase in NHS dental patient charges in England from 1 April

31st March 2021

The Department of Health and Social Care has proclaimed that there will be no increase in NHS dental patient charges in England from 1 April. Likewise, Colette Bridgman, the Chief Dental Officer, Wales, confirmed the same for the Welsh profession.

This follows the earlier announcement in November that NHS patient fees will increase by five per cent. The increase was delayed in April due to the pandemic.
