Thermo Fisher announces new agreement with Megaware

Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced details of a new partnership agreement with Megaware, it has emerged.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, both companies will work together in an effort to provide joint support services to organisations specialising in contract, biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.

Both Thermo Fisher and Megaware also plan to collaborate on a new solution for bioanalysis/equivalence, in which they will initially focus upon the Indian market, before moving to other markets.

"Thermo Fisher’s unparalleled strength in this field compliments Megaware’s in-depth experience with the [contract research organisation] industry in the market," said Dave Champagne, vice-president and general manager of informatics for Thermo Fisher.

"Our collaboration with Megaware will lead to the first total solution for this market," he added.

Thermo Fisher Scientific was established in 2006.
