Thermo Fisher launches new real-time PCR systems

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched two new real-time PCR systems. 

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 3 and QuantStudio 5 are fully integrated with cloud computing technology and the organisation said the products represent a new era in data sharing and global research collaboration.

Designed to enable multi-institutional work across geographically dispersed teams, the new systems will be put on display at the 2015 American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting, which starts tomorrow (April 18th) and runs for four days.

Chris Linthwaite, president of genetic sciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific, stated: "The QuantStudio 3 and 5 systems have been brought to market by a team with a heritage of developing the most advanced qPCR platforms."
