Thermo Fisher Scientific acquires instruments business
Thermo Fisher Scientific has acquired the instruments business of Davis Inotek Instruments, the company reveals.
Equipment previously available from Davis Inotek Instruments is now to be branded as Davis Instruments and accessible directly from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Customers are advised that the products are to be incorporated into the worldwide Cole-Parmer supply programme.
"Our Cole-Parmer channel is a well-known resource for the specialty instruments and consumables that our customers need for their scientific research," explains Marijn Dekkers, president and chief executive officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
"The addition of Davis Instruments is a perfect complement to the Cole-Parmer channel and will strengthen our ability to meet our customers’ needs."
Thermo Fisher Scientific states that it employs 30,000 people worldwide and serves more than 350,000 customers around the globe.
