Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces new recirculating chiller

10th December 2007

Thermo Fisher Scientific has extended its range of recirculating chillers, with the Thermo Scientific NESLAB ThermoFlex 2500.

According to the company, the unit has continuous cooling capacities of 2500 watts and is suitable for a "diverse" range of applications in a "variety of environments".

It also states that the product offers increased efficiencies which provide up to 20 per cent more cooling than similar units.

Eric Gustafson, product manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "Customers told us they need to boost productivity whenever and wherever they can. They need equipment that is easy to get up and running, and trouble-free to operate and maintain."

"With those needs in mind, our engineering team designed an innovative chiller platform from the ground up. Customer feedback on the new design features has been very positive," he continued.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has patents pending for many of the "innovative" features of the NESLAB ThermoFlex platform including the recirculation system with integrated funnel, full-flow filtration and visual fluid level indication "for easy maintenance".
