Thermo Fisher Scientific launch ARL OPTIM’X with SMS-Omega automation
Thermo Fisher Scientific has strengthened its WDXRF product portfolio, with the launch of the enhanced Thermo Scientific ARL OPTIM’X with SMS-Omega automation.
This "compact", "innovative" solution comprises of Thermo Fisher’s XRF and automation technology in a footprint of less than 1m2.
Described by the company as "easy-to-use" and "cost effective", the system features fully automated sample preparation and analysis enabling it to respond to the needs of users for fast and precise analysis in metals, mining, minerals and cement applications.
To ensure quality results, control samples are regularly analysed and processed by statistical evaluation techniques to detect any anomalies.
"The new automated ARL OPTIM’X with SMS-Omega solution demonstrates Thermo Fishers commitment to offering automated solutions including simple, autonomous and dedicated production control lines as well as higher performing and more sophisticated systems," said a statement from the serving science firm.
