Thermo Fisher Scientific launches new TurboFlow columns

5th June 2007

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a new line of silica-based TurboFlow columns to be used exclusively with its Transcend Systems.

Designed to provide scientists with capability to integrate online sample preparation with LC-MS analysis, the TurboFlow XL columns allow researchers to reduce sample preparation time and minimise ion preparation.

This is in addition to providing faster analysis and more confident data, Thermo Fisher Scientific states.

Available in a variety of chemistries, the columns provide a larger selection of tools for developing TurboFlow technology methods and are now available in dimensions suited for online sample preparation.

The manufacturer adds that "TurboFlow XL columns are compatible with the Thermo Scientific Aria TLX Systems, which use turbulent flow chromatography to separate analytes from biological fluids prior to LC-MS analysis".

Thermo Fisher Scientific recently announced that it is to introduce new integrated solutions for protein research, cellular science and general laboratory applications.

It will be launching a range of products at the American Mass Spectrometry Conference held in June, which will include the LTQ Orbitrap XL.ADNFCR-1050-ID-18169675-ADNFCR
