Tim Wight Appointed Executive Role at Avalere Health

Avalere Health has revealed that Tim Wright will be joining the company as president, bringing forward his expertise in fields such as evidence capability, global policy, and value. 

Leading Operating Officer Amar Urhekar commented “Tim is an accomplished and respected leader who brings more than 30 years of global experience in pricing, reimbursement and market access consultancy,” 

He continued by adding, “He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing teams and succeeding in this complex environment. Tim will ensure we deliver our industry-leading solutions to clients as they engage with our community of experts.” 

Wrights background includes over one thousand worldwide interactions and top leadership positions in United BioSource Corporation, Total Healthcare Group, and Evidera, among other Pharma businesses.  

Furthermore, Wright has over 10 years of international in-house experience from prestigious pharmaceutical firms like AstraZeneca, Allergan and Janssen-Cilag U.K. 

Wright stated following the announcement, “The ever-increasing pressure from payers, demand for real-world evidence data and scrutiny on pricing means our client partnerships need to be more meaningful, innovative and comprehensive.”
