Tin Man wins contract to promote preventative healthcare service Thriva
Tin Man has been handed a new contract to help promote the preventative healthcare service Thriva, following a competitive pitching process.
The agency has been tasked with creating a campaign to raise brand awareness and increase the number of customers using Thriva's home blood test service, reports Gorkana.
To kick off this effort, the firm staged a publicity event in which a giant "fatberg" – made from real fat provided by a meat supplier, and measuring more than ten ft wide – was exhibited in London to illustrate the collective weight gain experienced by Britons over Christmas.
By displaying this creation on London's South Bank, Tin Man intends to shock people into assessing their health and convince them not to abandon any healthy living resolutions they may have made during the New Year period.
Mandy Sharp, founder of Tin Man, said: "We wanted to create real impact with this activity, so what better way to shock Brits into considering the state of their internal health than by visualising the UK's overindulgence as a fatberg and raising awareness of the importance of internal health?"
