TTP LabTech launches news solution for tube volume detection

TTP LabTech has revealed a new solution for non-invasive volume detection for microtubes.

The comCHECK solution can "quickly ascertain the volume of a sample within a tube within an accuracy of 10uL", according to the company.

It also stated that it is able to identify which sample tubes contain a liquid below an acceptable threshold level.

The volume detection system is a non-invasive solution, this means that the samples are protected from the atmosphere or contamination by level sensing probes.

comCHECK can also test frozen tubes and automatically run threshold checks against a preset volume, dispensing any tubes which do not reach the required level.

Jas Sanghera, TTP LabTech’s commercial director, said: "Using a combination of both engineering and science allows TTP LabTech to develop unique solutions."

He added that comCHECK will help the company’s existing customers to solve problems using workflow-driven solutions that will increase productivity.
