UCB launches new personalised phone service UCBCares

UCB has announced the launch of a new 24/7 personalised phone service for healthcare professionals and patients in the UK.

The UCBCares service will allow patients prescribed with UCB products to directly contact the company and speak to highly skilled scientists, who can provide them with advice and feedback on products and treatments.

Doctors will also be able to directly interact with key internal UCB advisors, allowing the company to work more closely with the NHS to develop the best treatments and deliver outstanding care.

Since the company's UK headquarters in Slough also houses its global immunology research centre, its research and development scientists will be able to work alongside the UCBCares team to directly answer questions around treatments or therapy areas, while using customer feedback to drive innovation in the development of new medicines.

UCBCares is being launched in the UK following the successful launch of equivalent services in the US and Germany.
