Up adds three former national journalists to team

17th November 2014

Up has announced that three senior former journalists have agreed to partner with the agency to support its continued growth.

Former Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones reporter Kathy Gordon has joined the agency's team, as has James Saville, who previously served as news editor for the Daily Mirror and head of content at the Sunday People.

Meanwhile, Lara Gould – the Mail on Sunday's showbusiness editor for five years – has also agreed to support Up founders Stuart Jackson and Lynne Arrowsmith as the company's client base grows. The trio will work on content, strategy and media outreach activities.

Established earlier this year, Up's roster already includes brands such as Orange Innovation, Chelsea Apps Factory and Style on Screen, with more clients to be announced in the coming weeks

Mr Jackson said: "We work in a complex and competitive media environment, so having a pool of senior talent and expertise to draw on is a huge strategic asset for both our clients and our own business."

The agency also recently agreed a transatlantic partnership with Method Communications, giving clients access to PR expertise and counsel in both the US and UK.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801760572-ADNFCR
