To ensure best practice in disposing of pharmaceutical waste on farms, vets are being urged to work closely with farmers.

Ceva Animal Health highlighted its September research among vets, where sixty per cent declared that some of their farming customers could be disposing pharmaceutical waste, such as vials and injectables in domestic or commercial waste containers.

In order to assist vets in raising awareness of effective disposable services, Ceva will provide unique support products, including newsletters and social media content.
