Vetstream and DoveLewis to distribute clinical training videos

Vetstream has allied with the US DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital to distribute a range of veterinary education materials in developing nations.

The not-for-profit 24-hour emergency and critical care animal hospital will be bringing its respected On the Floor @Dove compilation of more than 300 clinical training videos to veterinary professionals around the world through this alliance with Vetstream.

A key focus of this work will be delivering the continuing education videos to vets and universities in developing countries at preferential rates, in order to help improve veterinary education in these nations.

The videos are filmed using real patients and include case discussions from certified specialists on a broad range of clinical topics.

Dr Mark Johnston, managing director of Vetstream, said: "Vetstream offers a range of online training resources to veterinary professionals around the world and, thanks to our partnership, many of them will also now be able to access these excellent resources from the DoveLewis team."

This comes after the firm allied with Kruuse earlier this year to support a project enabling African vets to access online training and development.
