Vetstream launches new CPD series on canine laryngeal disorders

19th August 2014

Vetstream has launched a series of e-learning modules and online videos that offer advanced continuous professional development (CPD) training on laryngeal disorders affecting dogs.

Hosted and presented by Professor Dick White, the six-hour course offers a comprehensive overview of larynx anatomy and function, including conditions such as laryngeal paralysis, collapse, trauma and neoplasia.

Created by online CPD specialist VisioCare Learning and distributed via the Vetacademy service, the modules incorporate visually-striking 3D animations to highlight internal views of animal functional anatomy and to illustrate relevant procedures.

Viewers will also benefit from sharing in the expertise of Professor White, one of the industry's leading small animal soft tissue surgeons.

Dr Mark Johnston, managing director of Vetstream, said: "These modules bring CPD to a whole new level. The use of 3D videos, combined with case presentations, makes them engaging and easier to follow, helping subscribers learn more effectively."

This comes after the firm introduced an online CPD series covering veterinary forensic science and animal crime scene investigation earlier this month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801743230-ADNFCR
