Virbac appoints new territory managers for pet food range

Virbac has announced the appointment of Katie Wilkie and Jo Elwood as new territory managers.

The experienced registered veterinary nurses (RVNs) will work to build awareness and sales of the company's premium Vet Complex range, sold exclusively through veterinary practices across the UK.

Ms Wilkie has been appointed territory manager for the north of the UK. She worked in practice for two years before moving into the veterinary industry to take on territory management roles.

Meanwhile, Ms Elwood has been appointed territory manager for the south of the country, having qualified as an RVN in 2013 and working in small animal practice since then.

Alan Chadwick, companion animal business unit director at Virbac, said: "Our Vet Complex range is proving increasingly popular in the UK so we are delighted to welcome Katie and Jo to help us build our presence in the pet food sector further."

This comes after the firm appointed Madeline Hayes as its fourth product manager last month.
