Virbac launches new Pronefra companion app for smartphones

Virbac has announced the launch of a free smartphone app to aid in the management of cats and dogs being treated for chronic kidney disease (CKD) with its drug Pronefra.

The Pronefra companion app is available for download on Android and iOS devices and is designed to help practices to interpret kidney-specific results quickly and easily in line with the latest recommendations.

Since reference ranges supplied by machines and labs are not always appropriate for the renal patient, the app has been developed to provide more personalised, case-specific guidance.

Pronefra offers a unique four-in-one mode of action that helps to manage a range of factors known to decrease quality and/or length of life of patients suffering with CKD, including phosphate restriction.
