Virbac to provide new Indorex information via Blippar app

Virbac has announced the introduction of useful interactive product information for its insecticide Indorex via the Blippar smart device app.

This augmented reality application allows owners to access trustworthy post-dispensing educational information about their products by scanning compatible packaging. 'Blippable' packaging has already been introduced for Virbac's Milpro and Prinovox brands.

By scanning the can of the award-winning veterinary household insecticide spray, users can access a video showing how to use Indorex in the home, as well as information about the effects of fleas and house dust mites, and an interactive question and answer tool.

Kate Woolley, product manager at Virbac, said: "Offering educational support materials via Blippar is an effective way to engage with owners, giving them the information they need to use the product effectively in an innovative yet convenient way."

Indorex is designed for use in conjunction with monthly spot-on treatments and offers both adulticide and insect growth regulator activity.

Approved by the Health and Safety Executive, it has won the Your Dog Magazine award for best flea product for the home for seven straight years, while claiming Your Cat Magazine's equivalent prize three times.
