Virgo Health Education adds medical doctor to team

Virgo Health has announced the appointment of Dr Ajay Aggarwal to its growing health education team.

Dr Aggarwal is a medical doctor who has worked in a number of specialties – including acute medicine, gastroenterology and colorectal surgery – at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, as well as spending time in dermatology and general practice.

Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for identifying efficient ways to enhance patient care, including the creation of a virtual clinic for patients with skin diseases to improve monitoring and follow-up in a cost-effective way.

His broad range of experience will deliver valuable insights to the agency's health education division, which recently won the medical education consultancy of the year prize at the Communique Awards.

Katherine Mantell, head of Virgo Health Education, said: "We are looking forward to harnessing his experience as a practising doctor to further expand our offering and build upon our human centric approach to medical learning."

This comes after the firm recently appointed new medical writer Dr Ana Tadeu, account manager Sophie Wraight and account executive Saima Khan.
