VPMA highlights help and assurance offered by online forums

24th June 2014

The Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) has highlighted the breadth and depth of practical help and reassurance provided by its online forums.

Two separate channels are offered by the organisation: an e-group with 200 individuals that allows confidential discussions and a VPMA management forum on Vetpol, where comments can be viewed by anyone with an interest in practice management.

According to the VPMA, participating in these communities can be beneficial for practice managers, allowing them to give their views on current issues and help colleagues, while gathering feedback and forging social connections.

They can be particularly helpful for those who would otherwise struggle to keep up with all the developments and legal changes that take place within the sector.

VPMA president Helen Sanderson said: "Having the collective expertise of a large group of experienced managers to dip into … can save on time and effort, as well as providing reassurance that you're handling things as your contemporaries would."

Last month, the organisation announced the formation of a new member services group to help optimise and expand the range of benefits it offers to members.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801730661-ADNFCR
