Waters announced as founding partner of International Phenome Centre Network

Waters has announced the launch of the new International Phenome Centre Network (IPCN), a new initiative founded by a consortium of leading research centres from six different countries.

The IPCN will be dedicated to promoting the adoption of harmonised metabolic phenotyping methods to tackle pressing global health challenges such as autism, cancer, diabetes, dementia and obesity.

Waters is participating in the consortium as a founding corporate partner and will support the network with its chromatography and mass spectrometry technologies and expertise.

The company will collaborate with IPCN institutions around the world to apply cutting-edge analytical and mathematical approaches to study data diverse populations around the world, with the aim of shedding light on the molecular underpinnings of disease, and informing the development of new therapies and global public health policies.
