Welch Allyn introduces new products at Medica 2011

Welch Allyn has introduced a number of new medical devices at the Medica International Trade Fair and Congress in Dusseldorf.

The healthcare company is launching several new innovations aimed at delivering accurate patient data analysis, which can be easily transferred to electronic medical records for use by healthcare providers.

Among the products displayed are the Connex Integrated Wall System, Connex Electronic Vitals Documentation System and Connex ProBP 3400 digital blood pressure device, as well as an improved version of the Braun ThermoScan PRO 4000 ear thermometer.

Additionally, a new telehealth offering that has been developed in partnership with Cisco is also being showcased.

Pascal Gand, vice-president for global strategic marketing at Welch Allyn, said: "Our solutions provide clinicians with near-instant access to the most recent patient status so they can make informed decisions fast."
