Wildfire wins tech-focused brief with William Hill

27th July 2015

Wildfire has been handed a new tech-focused brief by William Hill, one of the largest bookmakers in the UK.

The agency has been tasked with building the company’s credibility in the tech community and among early adopters, in order to attract new development partners and employees, while also raising awareness of the innovative betting methods it offers, reports Gorkana.

Work will also be done to promote WHLabs, an innovation hub that aims to help identify and develop tech innovations for the gambling and gaming industry. It is offering up to eight tech start-ups a place on a 12-week programme.

The project is supported by an initial investment of 25,000 pounds, with the opportunity to win a further 150,000 pounds in investment also available. Winners will be offered office space at William Hill's sites in Shoreditch and Tel Aviv.

Debby Penton, Wildfire's deputy managing director, said: "With WHLabs the company is really striking out on its own path and putting technology at the centre of everything it is doing."

This comes after the firm previously won a contract with ClicData, a leading provider of cloud-based dashboards, earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801795581-ADNFCR
