Woodley Equipment appoints new service engineer

Woodley Equipment has announced the appointment of Mike Rimmer to its service department at its offices at the Locomotive Industrial Estate in Horwich, Lancashire.

Mr Rimmer has been hired as a service engineer, with duties including the service and repair of veterinary laboratory analysis equipment. He will receive both in-house and manufacturer service training to provide a good knowledge base of analysers supplied by Woodley.

He has held similar roles and thus brings a wealth of experience to this role.

The company said: "Woodley Equipment has a history of excellent after-sales care, and part of that comes through our in-house service department. Mike's appointment confirms Woodley Equipment's ongoing commitment to providing customers with a quality service."

In addition to its offices and warehouse premises in the north-west, Woodley has a specialist veterinary wet chemistry division, Quantum Vet Diagnostics, based in the south-east.

The firm is established as one of the fastest growing in this industry sector.
