Woodley Equipment launches new pet glucose meter

Woodley Equipment has made a new pet glucose meter available on the veterinary products market.

The Woodley g-Pet Species Specific Glucometer is designed to make testing faster, easier and more economical for vets and operates in three steps – insert the test strip, apply the blood sample and retrieve the results within ten seconds.

It is lightweight, easy-to-use, has a 300-result memory storage facility complete with the date and time of each test and comes with a PC downloading option.

Woodley Equipment is also running an introductory offer, giving veterinarians the chance to buy the product for £9.50 rather than the regular retail price of £49.50.

The Westmorland Veterinary Group, which has been utilising the new glucose meter, stated: “The Woodley g-Pet glucometer is very easy to use […] there is no need for syringes or blood tubes. With the majority of patients it can be done single-handed.”

In other news related to the firm, its subsidiary Quantum Vet Diagnostics recently announced the appointment of a new recruit at its in-house laboratory – Alison Sylvester – who will assume the position of biochemistry specialist.
