WPP Health strengthens senior management as it eyes UK expansion
To continue extending their UK Offering, and to utilise skillsets within the group for the benefit of their clients, WPP Health Practice have promoted Simon Stebbing to UK Chief Executive and appointed Caroline Howe as the new UK Country Lead.
Currently Chief Executive of Oglivy Health, Caroline will retain this position and oversee teams across WPP’s UK Health Practice brands including, Sudler, Wunderman, Thompson Health London and Darwin.
Caroline began her career 25 years ago in Medical Education and Comms agency MediTech Media, where she stayed for 7 years before moving to Oglivy. Over the past 12 years Caroline worked hard and was rewarded with Head of Oglivys Health PR unit, followed by becoming a Manging partner in their digital health sector shortly after. Over the past three years, she received further promotion when she became MD of brand promotion as well as digital before reaching her current role as chief executive.
Simon receives a promotion from his role as Managing Director or Digital and Advertising at Oglivy to UK Chief Executive, but will retain his title of international head of digital for WPP Health.
Both Caroline and Simon will report into Claire Gillis, WPP Health Practices International Chief Executive. Claire commented: “Caroline and Simon have been instrumental in generating an open and inclusive culture for our teams and a market-leading specialist service for our clients.
