Zaicom names new director and board member

Zaicom has announced the appointment of Dr Beverly Barr as its new director and board member, bringing significant healthcare sector expertise to the firm.

Dr Barr has more than 20 years of experience in the international health industry, having held senior positions at some of the world's top healthcare communications and consultancy firms.

She is the current vice-chairman of the UK Pharmaceutical Marketing Society, where she also serves as the head of its market access interest group, while previous roles include that of practice head of communications at Pope Woodhead.

Zaicom believes that Dr Barr's appointment will allow the company to benefit from her knowledge in fields such as external affairs, value communications, market access, patient organisation and stakeholder engagement.

She will offer her services across Zaicom International's entire group of companies, which includes seven separate divisions serving different market areas within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

These include Zaicom MMC, Zaicom Consulting, Zaicom Research Plus, Spectrum Regulatory Solutions and Exemplar CE.
