Zinsser Analytic launches new TraySy Z plus filling system

Zinsser Analytic has introduced a new automated filling system for use in a number of life science and drug development applications.

The TraySy X plus system is comprised of a four-channel peristaltic pump and a specifically-designed X-Z distributor, providing a filling system for both small and medium-sized batches.

It is able to process vials, ampoules, packing trays or tubes in racks, as well as being capable of handling volumes ranging between 0.1ml to 1,000ml.

The unit allows users to place the relevant receptacles into the dispensing area, whereupon they are automatically filled, processing a 4ml vial in less than two seconds.

According to the manufacturer, its easy setup and usability in both sterile and non-sterile settings make it ideal for use in a range of applications, including "drug dispensaries, bacteriology labs [and] pharmaceutical and diagnostic batch production".

This comes after the company launched TraySy X earlier this year, an automatic liquid filling system designed for compatibility with any liquid media.
